Teenage girl presented with pain lower abdomen. Upon Examination and investigations she was found to have Huge left sided Simple adnexal cyst. Laparoscopic excision of the paraovarian cyst was done.
Paraovarian cyst originates in the broad ligament between the fallopian tube and ovary. Paraovarian cyst has been suspected to play a role in infertility and ectopic pregnancy by disturbing tubal motility and by narrowing the tubal lumen.
Adnexal torsion is higher in paraovarian cyst than in ovarian cyst
